This system is currently available at the FertiCare clinic in Prague.
Patient Identification
Each patient undergoing treatment is asked to identify themselves. Based on this information, the patient is assigned a unique identification bracelet containing an electronic identity. This process occurs every time a gamete sample (eggs and sperm) is collected, during embryo transfer, or insemination.
Laboratory Identification
All equipment used during treatment, including test tubes, plates, or devices, is labeled with barcoded stickers containing patient information. These labels are specifically designed for laboratory purposes, ensuring that no sample or device remains unidentified.
Sample Verification at Every Step
At every stage of the treatment process, whether in laboratories, operating rooms, or insemination and transfer rooms, the Matcher scanner is used. It scans each sample or device and verifies the process before moving on to the next step. Additionally, the system is equipped with a photo-capturing function at each scan, creating a visual record of every step and providing an extra level of protection and traceability.
With the Matcher system, the entire treatment process is continuously monitored, minimizing the risk of errors and ensuring a high level of safety and precision. This technology not only ensures safe handling of samples but also enhances patient confidence in our team. The system provides peace of mind to patients, knowing that every step of their treatment is carefully tracked and verified.
